It’s all sugar and spice and everything nice on my blog today because I’m starting off my gift guide posts with gift ideas for the girls! With something sentimental, something sensible and a few things in between, I hope you’ll find this to be a well-rounded list of present possibilities. Here they are…
1. Life | The Happy Planner
I felt slightly anti-feminist when choosing this particular present because it feels a bit domestic, but a well-planned life really is a gift. Also, if you’ve ever seen a planner video on YouTube, you’ll know that plenty of women LOVE their planners and they’re not just housewives – they’re women who hustle and work and set goals and achieve them. This planner is the perfect balance of girly and grownup so it will suit a wide range of ages and personalities. Read more of my thoughts on the Happy Planner in this post.
2. Family | Ancestry.com Subscription
As I get older, the need to connect with my family’s history becomes increasingly more important to me. I already know that my great great grandfather was Buffalo Soldier Reuben Waller but I’m sure I’ve got even more amazing ancestors out there whose names and faces I’ve never seen. Whether you get someone you love started with a month-long membership or you sign them up for six months, an Ancestry.com subscription is the perfect gift for that history buff in your family. P.S. Pictured above is my grandma who passed in July. Love you, Nanny!
3. Beauty | Anastasia Beverly Hills Modern Renaissance Palette
So I’m kinda wishing I put this on my own list because it truly looks like a masterpiece. The colors in this palette are brilliant (I’m all about neutrals and anything pink!) and I’ve seen a multitude of different, gorgeous looks created with these shadows. I originally picked the Tarte Pretty Paintbox Case as my beauty gift idea because I loved the colors in that kit but it didn’t really get rave reviews. I continued my search and decided upon the Modern Renaissance Palette which has been touted as being highly pigmented and creamy. Love!
4. Art | HP Sprocket Photo Printer
I first saw this portable printer on Zoella’s most recent “What’s in My Bag” video and I fell in love with it. Not only is it adorable, it’s convenient due to its slender size and its thermal paper tech which means ink-free printing. Via the HP Sprocket app (for iOS or Android), you can edit and print photos from your phone’s camera roll. I think this is a fantastic gift for women, men or even a special kid in your life! Group selfie, anyone?!
5. Tummy | Keurig 2.0 K200 Coffee Maker
I’m pretty sure I’ve created a previous gift guide featuring a coffee maker, but I just have to do it again because I’m loving the color options available for this Keurig. With its streamlined stature and shades like mint, pearl and candy apple red, I think it’s so perfect for a home office coffee bar, a dorm room or just about any kitchen that can benefit from a chic little coffee maker. And, it goes without saying, coffee makers are the gifts that keep on giving!
That’s all for today but come back tomorrow for my gift ideas for the guys! Don’t forget to leave me a comment and let me know which of my girly gift ideas was your fave. Lots of love!
