Happy Monday guys! I’m going to kick off the week by sharing with you my Christmas wish list for this year. I may or may not get everything (or anything depending on how naughty I’ve been) on this list, but hopefully this will provide you with some gift-giving inspiration for the loved ones in your life! Let’s get started…
1. Family | Engraved Monogram Pendant
In lieu of my own monogram, I’d love to get the kids’ initials (EHS) added to this beautiful BaubleBar pendant and make it one of those keepsake, daily-wear pieces. I think the gold or rose gold versions are absolutely gorgeous but it’s also available in white gold and silver to encompass a variety of tastes.
2. Art | Neewer Lighting Kit
Funny little story about these lights – I ordered them once already when we still lived at our apartment and they were stolen from our doorstep. So guess what’s back on my list?! To further the professionalism of my YouTube videos and photography for my blog, great lighting is a necessity. This lighting kit from Neewer has gotten solid reviews on Amazon as well as YouTube, so I thought they’d be a perfect starting point for me.
3. Beauty | Luxe Acrylic Modular System
As my makeup collection expands, I’ve had a harder and harder time fitting everything into the medium sized makeup bag I currently own. This grownup-girl stackable storage system is perfect for creating a personalized makeup station with its wide selection of pieces. I wouldn’t mind finding one of each of these awesome acrylic containers from the Container Store under my tree this year!
4. Tummy | Eat Smart by Niomi Smart
I’m not sure why I didn’t preorder or already order this book because I’ve wanted it since Niomi Smart announced she was writing a cookbook. Filled with simple, healthy plant-based recipes, this book has earned its spot on my list this year. Another note on cookbooks in general, I have purchased several cookbooks in digital form which I kind of regret now as I think I prefer the paper versions with handwritten notes and splashes on their pages. How about you?
5. Life | I’m Judging You by Luvvie Ajayi
Praised by Oprah, Shonda Rhimes and The New York Times alike, this book seems like a must-read! We can all use a little “do better” in our lives and what better way to absorb it than a collection of hilarious essays? It was written by a blogger so it’s kind of a no-brainer for me. And personally, I’m looking forward to reading the chapter titled “Your Facebook is My Favorite Soap Opera” because there’s definitely one on every friends list if you know what I mean!
6. Tummy | KitchenAid Artisan Stand Mixer
I’m pretty sure this mixer by KitchenAid is on many a home baker’s list as it’s pretty much the gold standard for household stand mixers. It’s a beautiful-but-practical appliance and I’ve wanted one for years now. This mixer comes in 20+ colors so there’s one to suit every chef and every kitchen. And since this is my personal Christmas wish list, you know I’m opting for pink!
7. Art | Phantom 3 Standard Camera Drone
As I am (or would be if/when I get a drone) new to the drone life, I think DJI’s Phantom 3 Standard would be a perfect starter drone for me. That is to say the Phantom 3 is significantly cheaper than the Phantom 4 LINK which means I’ll be less furious when I inevitably crash the thing. That prophecy aside, I’d love to own a drone to capture amazing shots of our adventures that might otherwise go unseen.
8. Beauty | Miss Dior Eau de Parfum
I’ve always wanted to be one of those girls with a variety of perfumes at her disposal to suit multiple moods and each event. The only problem is I only really loved one perfume (Viktor & Rolf’s Flowerbomb) until quite recently. When I finally got around to sampling Miss Dior, it was love at first sniff for the second time in my life. Fittingly, Miss Dior has similar notes to Flowerbomb which is probably why I was so drawn to it. In any case, it’s certainly made my list!
9. Life | Sweet Stamp Shop Plan to Work Stamps
Because life is less rocky with proper organization, I’d really love to receive these planner stamps from Sweet Stamp Shop to use with my Happy Planner. I love all the social media stamps, the “blog” and “upload” stamps and – ok, I love them all! I also have my eye on this stamp set and this small acrylic block.
10. Family | Shark Rocket Upright Vacuum
As we recently moved into my childhood home and my mom and dad already have the same vacuum I did (in better condition), I left my vacuum behind. Now that we’ve semi-settled down, I’m in need of a new vacuum to suit our increased needs. In the future, I’ll probably be looking to purchase a Dyson, but for now the Shark Rocket seems to be a great vacuum for a good price.
As always, thanks for reading guys! I’m going to officially declare this week “Gift Week” on my blog as this post will be followed by three gift guides plus a special post on Friday on how to give even further this year. Stay tuned!
